Here are some things to think about and prepare | Interior Design Ideas

The computer is a big part of any adult teen’s life.

Their social life and study life all take place around the computer, so it’s best to create a place that will foster good studying habits in-between social media scanning. boys room decor

Get away place

Create a place that your teen can get away from it all and just relax. An over-sized, pillow-like lounge chair is a great place to escape to read or listen to music.

Just keep in mind it should be something that can grow with him as he continues to transition into adulthood. Interior Design ideas

Cool Colors

Tone down the bright colors of youth with deeper shades of color. Try a color palette of cool, calm tones, like grays, blues, and greens. Though there is no limit to what color your maturing teen boy might like.

Unique Lighting

Add a touch of originality to your teen boy’s modern bedroom with unique lightings, such as the  Table Lamp. Look for pieces that stand out and bring personality to the room, while remaining practical. boys room decor

Tailored Accents

Art is a great way to express yourself in any room, so let your adult-teen boy express his passions in the form of art.

Whatever his tastes and hobby’s, whether it be surfing, sports, or music, bring in artwork that works well with the style of the space you’re creating.

The artwork is also a great starting place and works well as an inspiration piece to draw a color palette and style from.

Space to Play

Provide a space to play and socialize with friends by including something everyone can enjoy. The pool Table, for example, fosters camaraderie and friendly competition.

Conclusion

You must make a place that fits his thought process, allow the room to express

Give a guy mantle and space for expression and get away

Give a sense of privacy and security, this is his safe space

I love the simplicity and cleanliness of their room. It just makes things easier to clean especially because in reality a kids room is clean about 10% of the time 🤷‍♀️😆. I totally agree about keeping decor and “stuff” at a minimal only because I have 3 boys and no matter what I do everything magically ends up in a mess even though “no one” ever does it! Lol I love you guys, keep the videos coming! ♥️

  7. Noah and liams room is so awesome I love how neat and simple it is and I love his marvel avengers bed and love the wall decor and I love liams marvel crib to and I'm the same way i like things being in the same spot its alot better that way and have to say noah and liams room is cleaner than mine lol and I love the air purifier I would like to have one of those in my room and I need to get a fan like his to mine is a bit small and I've had it for a long time and I love that you rigged the wii u with the hard drive so you can play any game so cool and it is nice having a tv in the room and I love Noah's closet where he plays on the computer it's so cool that you let him use your macbook and I loved Noah's intro it's not a man cave you inbemsole that made me laugh and would love to see more room tours you make awesome videos keep up the good work

  8. My daughter loves art work on the wall so we went on amazon and got her a bunch of posters! That might be perfect for their room! Maybe Noah can pick a few out and just apply with tape and tada ❤️

  9. I love the crib sheets! What a perfect pair of roommates!

  10. jean gray says:

It seems a lot of schooling is focused on screen time for him. If you don't have the time would you consider getting a tutor to come in for him to cut back on so many learning videos ?

  11. I love being a member of your Landing Crew!!! Does Noah still use his bath salt and bath balms?

  12. Ashlee W. says:

My son has the same sheets. So cute!

  13. Hi Noah . I also have to sleep with a fan my husband makes fun of me because if I go on vacation I take my big huge fan with me . If I’m flying I call the hotel and tell them I need a fan when I show up and they have it ready for me lol . I also live in Florida ( Anna Maria island ) so when we lose power in a storm I can never fall asleep so for hurricane season I just got a battery fan so I’m prepared or I won’t sleep lol .

Hi steph is his new fan battery operated or plug in if it’s battery which one is it ? Thanks love you guys

Have you ever thought of looking into Montessori for the boys with sensory needs? Our son is 2 and has sensory needs (he borderlines an autism diagnosis like Lex) and we started transitioning his toys and play area to more Montessori since it's very sensory based and we've seen a huge change for him on a lot of ways. One being his sensory issues. Just thought I'd mention it!

  17. I love your videos. I learn so much about autism and sensory overload.

  18. Hi Stephanie I’ve been following u for sometime now just wanted to say our son got his autism diagnosis today finally getting somewhere now starts the therapies and loads of paperwork

  19. sj4iy says:

I wish my son's room would stay that clean lol. He doesn't really throw things anymore (we did have his room pretty bare for a couple of years because of that) so he's accumulated a lot of toys that he mostly keeps on his bed because he can't sleep without it. He's never cared for superheroes but loves vehicles, construction and bunnies (I was that mom ordering easter supplies in August for his party). I would say the only thing sensory wise that he has always needed and still does to this day is a lot of blankets. He stayed swaddled until he was like 7 years old and could never probably sleep without a feeling of weight on him. So now we just let him sleep under a pile of blankets and stuffed animals…it's honestly hard to tell he's in bed sometimes. Thanks for letting us see their room ^^

  20. Awesome video! Noah and Liam are so awesome! Glad Noah has somewhere he can go to calm down! Thanks for sharing!
